I’m pleased to announce that Issue #2 is in the mail, so if you ordered a copy (thank you!), it is on its way! The mail to some areas is a bit sluggish right now, so if you don’t receive your order within a few weeks, please let me know and I’ll track it down for you. (International mail will likely take longer.) If you have not yet ordered a copy but would like to do so, here’s the link to the ordering information: https://kingfisherjournal.com/subscriptions/ Also, if you’d like to renew your subscription for issues #3 & #4, you can do that, too.
Submissions for issue #3 are open February 1–28. Please take a look at the submission guidelines: https://kingfisherjournal.com/submissions/ and remember that if a haiku appears as part of a published poem, such as a haibun, rengay, or haiku sequence, I do consider it published and thus ineligible for submission to Kingfisher. If you have any questions, please ask. Thank you for your understanding.
I hope you’re all doing well and I wish you the patience of this Royal Albatross as it waits for its mate to return with food and for their egg to hatch. https://www.allaboutbirds.org/cams/royal-albatross/
Dear Tanya, What a beautiful and interesting photo. And yes, the mail takes time. Thank you.
