Kingfisher Greetings

It’s a busy time of the year, so I’ll keep this post brief. As many of you know, Kingfisher #12 started landing in mailboxes in early November and has been finding a happy home on bookshelves and nightstands, in pockets, purses, and glove boxes, and beyond. Speaking of February, submissions for issue 13 will be open the entire month of February. This overlaps with a number of other fine journals, but with only 12 months in the year, it can’t be helped. Please check out the submission guidelines here: https://kingfisherjournal.com/submissions/ While I’ve been enjoying the break between issues (catching up on some reading, practicing the guitar, planning Haiku Oregon meetings, planning holiday stuff, and occasionally trying to write), I’m looking forward to reading submissions.
