Subtle brilliance and shiny fishes
Kingfisher is a journal of contemporary haiku and senryu. Perfect bound and pocket-sized, it measures 6 x 4.25″ (spine height is 4.25″). Each issue is between 80–100 pages.
Founded by Tanya McDonald in 2020, Kingfisher is published twice a year, in mid-spring and mid-autumn.
Submission periods for 2023 are February 1–28, and August 1–31. Submissions received outside of those periods will not be read.
