Isn’t that an awesome cover? I still can’t believe how lucky I was to get Seattle comic artist David Lasky to create it for the journal. Check out more of his work here: http://www.laskycomics.com
Thank you to everyone who submitted haiku and senryu this time around. I received a record number of submissions, which unfortunately means I had to turn away a record number of poems, which is heartbreaking, but necessary. I finished the sequencing last week and have been working on layout. I’m excited to share these new poems with you!
Kingfisher #12 will be heading to the printer next week, so if you haven’t already ordered a copy or subscription, please do so before October 1st. This will give me an accurate number of copies to order from the wonderful folks at Woodinville PRINT. I try to keep the number of copies ordered to a minimum so I don’t end up with overstock. Ideally, I will sell out of an issue a few months after publication, so don’t delay! https://kingfisherjournal.com/shop/
I expect to have issue 12 back from the printer in late October. Copies will be mailed soon after that.
Thank you for supporting Kingfisher!
